There’s something extra special about photographing a family vacation when the grandparents come along too.
This extended family traveled to Pensacola Beach for some family time, and they showed up dressed in different shades of blue — which just happened to match that gorgeous Gulf Coast sky PERFECTLY. 💙
White sand. Blue water. Blue skies. And one very happy family.
But what I remember most about this session wasn’t even the beautiful scenery. It was the LAUGHTER.
The kids and their dad were absolutely hilarious and had everyone cracking up the entire time. Grandma spent half the session shaking her head and basically saying, “Yep… that’s my son.” 😂
And then watching the kids act just like their dad?
Honestly, it was pretty adorable.
That kind of personality is exactly what I love capturing during family sessions. Yes, we’ll get those beautiful smiling portraits, but I also want the silly moments, the belly laughs, the personalities, and those little interactions that make your family your family.
Especially when you're traveling with multiple generations, these photos become so much more than vacation pictures. They're memories of grandparents with their grandchildren, parents with their kids, and an entire family together in one place.
Pensacola Beach gave us the perfect backdrop — the whitest sand, the bluest sky, and a whole lot of family fun.
And that dad?
He was pretty amazing.
