There’s something pretty special about photographing someone experiencing the beach for the very first time.
This adorable couple came to Perdido Key for a little vacation together before he headed off to basic training, and they decided to squeeze in a mini couples session while they were here.
And y’all… they had the BEST time. 🥰
They spent part of their session doing what you should absolutely do when you're visiting the Gulf for the first time — collecting seashells, playing in the water, laughing, and just enjoying being together.
We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day either. The sky was completely clear, not a cloud in sight, and Perdido Key was showing off in all its beachy glory. ☀️🌊
I loved that this wasn't about creating some perfectly posed, Pinterest-perfect session. It was about capturing them enjoying a vacation, making memories, and having one more little adventure together before life took them in a new direction.
Sometimes the smallest sessions end up holding some of the biggest memories.
And getting to capture their first-ever beach experience? That was pretty damn special. ❤️📸
